  • Babdarna does not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Babdarna does not use your data for advertising purposes.
  • Babdarna collects only what is necessary to deliver its services.
  • You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time.

Introduction

House of stability LLC, operating as Babdarna (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals who use the Babdarna mobile application (“App”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data. It applies to all users of the App — Guests, Owners, and internal Ops Users — regardless of how they access the platform.

By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in three ways: directly from you when you register or use the App, automatically through your use of the App, and from third parties where necessary for service delivery.

3.1 Data You Provide Directly

When you register and use the App, you provide us with:

When you use the App, we automatically collect the following:

📍 Location Data Notice

The App requests access to your device location only for specific operational purposes: check-in verification and proximity-based features.

You may disable location access in your device settings at any time. Disabling location may limit some App features but will not prevent you from making or managing bookings.

We do not track your location continuously or outside of active App sessions.

3.3 Sensitive Data: National ID & Passport

We collect scanned copies of National IDs and passports as a mandatory requirement for:

  • Identity verification in compliance with Egyptian property rental regulations.
  • Guest registration for units within gated communities (North Coast projects).
  • Prevention of fraud and unauthorized access to Units.

This data is classified as sensitive personal data. It is stored with heightened security controls, accessed only by authorized personnel, and retained only for as long as legally or operationally required (see Section 7).

How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data only for the purposes listed below. We do not use your data for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

What We Never Do With Your Data

  • We never sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We never use your data for targeted advertising.
  • We never share your identification documents with any party not directly involved in your booking.
  • We never use your data for purposes incompatible with those listed in this Policy.
Section 05

How We Share Your Data

Babdarna shares personal data only with parties who require it to deliver the service. All third-party recipients are contractually bound to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable privacy law.

5.1 Internal Sharing

Your data is accessible within Babdarna on a need-to-know basis:

  • Ops Users (City Managers, Hosts): Access booking and contact data to manage your stay.
  • Finance Team: Access payment records and owner payout data.
  • Senior Management: Access aggregated reporting and escalated cases.

5.2 Third-Party Service Providers

5.3 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose your personal data to government authorities, law enforcement, or courts if required to do so by:

  • Egyptian law or a lawful court order.
  • A regulatory authority with jurisdiction over our operations.
  • Legal proceedings to which Babdarna is a party.

Where permitted by law, we will notify you before disclosing your data in response to such requests.

5.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of Babdarna’s business, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. You will be notified prior to such transfer, and the receiving entity will be bound by privacy obligations no less protective than those in this Policy.

Section 06

How We Store Your Data

6.1 Storage Location

Your personal data is stored on secure cloud servers. At launch, data is stored within or accessible from the Arab Republic of Egypt. For data processed through third-party platforms (Smoobu, Odoo), storage locations are subject to those platforms’ own data residency policies, which we have reviewed and approved.

Upon expansion to UAE: Data for UAE users will be stored on UAE-resident servers in compliance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL).

Upon expansion to KSA: Data for KSA users will be stored in compliance with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its executive regulations.

These clauses will be activated and populated with specific server and compliance details prior to GCC launch.

6.2 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher encryption.
  • Encryption at rest: Sensitive data, including identification document scans, is encrypted at rest using AES-256 or equivalent.
  • Access controls: Data access is role-based. Only personnel with a legitimate operational need may access personal data.
  • Audit logs: All access to sensitive data is logged and monitored.
  • Secure document handling: ID and passport scans are stored in isolated, access-controlled storage separate from general app data.
  • Incident response: We maintain a data breach response protocol. In the event of a breach affecting your data, you will be notified in accordance with applicable law.

6.3 Payment Data Security

Babdarna does not store payment card data. All payment records consist of uploaded Proof of Payment documents (receipts, transfer slips) provided by the user. These are stored securely and accessed only for booking verification and dispute resolution purposes.

Section 07

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by Egyptian law.

At the end of the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer be attributed to you as an individual.

We will respond to all valid requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this period by an additional 30 days with notice. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

⚠ Important Limitation

Certain data (particularly National ID/passport scans and financial records) cannot be deleted during legally mandated retention periods even upon request.

Deletion of your account will not automatically trigger deletion of data we are required to retain by law.

We will always explain which data cannot be deleted and why, and for how long it must be retained.

Section 09

Children’s Privacy

The Babdarna App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us without appropriate parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@babdarna.com. We will investigate and delete such data promptly.

Section 10

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Babdarna App does not use browser cookies. However, the App uses the following mobile-equivalent tracking technologies:

Disabling optional technologies may limit certain App features but will not prevent core booking and account functions from working.

Section 11

Third-Party Links & Integrations

The App may contain links to or integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, WhatsApp). This Privacy Policy applies solely to data processed by Babdarna. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party platform.

When you interact with a third-party platform (e.g., leave a review on Airbnb), that platform’s privacy policy governs how your data is handled. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of all third-party services you use in connection with Babdarna.

Section 12

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

  • We will post the updated Policy within the App under Settings > Legal > Privacy Policy.
  • We will update the effective date at the top of this document.
  • For material changes — such as changes to how we handle sensitive data or the introduction of new data categories — we will notify you via App notification or email at least 7 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of the App after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must cease using the App.

Section 13

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, and the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

All disputes relating to data privacy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.

UAE: This Policy will be supplemented by a UAE-specific privacy addendum compliant with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) prior to UAE launch.

KSA: This Policy will be supplemented by a KSA-specific privacy addendum compliant with the Saudi PDPL and SDAIA regulations prior to KSA launch.
